The chip shop isn't open yet, but it must be very close to it. I base this assumption on the fact that the sign was illuminated, and through the new shutters I could see several tradesmen at work inside at around nine o'clock on a Saturday night. The counter is in, and it looks like one chap was working on the heater cabinets on top; I think another one might have been working on the price board for the wall. So hopefully next week it'll be open again
