In the hotel. They've put me in a ground-floor-back room, which are the ones where there's little to no mobile signal
It took me about an hour to travel the twelve miles here from ClientCo, due to some holdup on the A14
And as I was trying to get on to the A14, I met a motorist who'd taken the wrong bit of the admittedly very confusing junction and was coming towards me the wrong way. I started mouthing "You're on the wrong road" to the driver and realised as I did so that the car was a left-hand drive, so switched my attention to the actual driver. The couple in the car were Chinese, and it's all rubbish about them being inscrutable - this guy had just realised that he was basically coming towards me on the wrong side of the road with nowhere to go, and the expression of utter confusion and mortification on his face was worth the price of admission on its ownComment
