Fish in batter this evening.
The batter was a bit greasy, and I suppose it might have been better to have baked it.
Followed by stewed apple & custard.

Chicken tikka masala for dinner, courtesy of Patak's
Vaguely wondering whether to go to the pub tonight. Then I remembered that it's end-of-the-month Friday and a Bank Holiday weekend, so likely to be rather busy, even if lacking in HSBC customers.
Sainsbury's gave me a voucher for extra points if I spent twenty quid on wine, so I did. This added to the store of wine left from the last time they did that. So maybe I'll stay in and get through some of the rather nice red that's sitting in the kitchen insteadComment

Working my way through the duty free Bombay Sapphire (£15 for a litre!) from last weekend.
It's a tough gig...
Tomorrow I have to shop for and make banoffee pie, and get the stuff for tomato, mozzarella and Basil! (in Sybil voice) salad. Which is a posh way of saying I'm going to make a pudding and slice tomato and soft cheese for Mr ms's sister's BBQ on Sunday.
There's 5 siblings, and three of them (inc us) have marked 25 years of Holy matrimony, so she's invited the family round and is cooking some sausages to celebrate.
I fear this is the sole reason Mr ms bought my bling - so that he wasn't going to be outdone by his brother in law!
