          I remember ex-mrs-bp-1 have her kidney transplant(from her brother) postponed. She had a "slightly raised temperature".

          The surgeon did not even popping in and we only found out when she was due to go into theatre.

          I always suspected the surgeons fancied a morning on the golf course...

              I remember when MiniMac was waiting for an op, nothing drastic but serious enough for him to be rushed into hospital, a polite nurse said that there was a delay in the previous op running over so had to postpone ours. I remember being very aggrieved that the surgeon could not do another op straight after the team had a 18 hour procedure, I distinctly remember calling them selfish bastards at the time, but then again I might have been over reacting.
