Just reading an article on the BBC news website about how bad subtitles are for live tv shows and how they can make the programmes unwatchable - for example subtitling "being given to our toddlers" as "being given to ayatollahs".

However the second paragraph of the article starts "An report".

I upgraded my fibre at the beginning of last week, the main thing I've noticed is I have to get up 10 minutes earlier in the morning.

The area I live in was one of the very first places in the country to get fibre, back in the 1980s. I know it was NTL before it was Virgin Media, but I can't remember what it was before NTL, if anything.

It would, I suspect, be considerably more hassle to get a non-fibre connection set up than to just stick with fibre. The phone hasn't worked for five or six years, as I stopped reporting it after the fifth time they fixed it. Other than that, it's pretty reliable (pace the hassle over Christmas).

Where I am NTL was Cable & Wireless, and before that a company called Nynex, I believe.

wouldn't it be quicker and easier to change the wifi name and password to the old one..
