They hold stock of the Seicento tanks.

I still can't work out how a retail price of £340 for said tank reduces to a price of £88 + VAT.

And some places were selling it cheaper.
He tried to get hold of a tank made by an after-market outfit, but it turns out the problem with the tanks being well-made in the first place is that there's no demand for replacements, so nobody's though it worthwhile to tool up to make them

So it has to be a real Toyota tank, costing an arm and a leg; and Toyota said it'd take at least two days to deliver. I gave him the OK on Monday evening, IIRC, so the earliest it could have arrived and been fitted is probably yesterday.

Hope it's all sorted out for tonight; I need that car this weekend

Not me! And not Admin or NAT either (at least no-one's told me).

I shall investigate and report back.

I've got 2.5 rings working on my 'lecktrick cooker.

It was one of the things I forgot to fix over Xmas.

Most, perhaps all, of the deleted posts are before 100,000, and I have multiple backups of the thread from before then, though most of them are at home. All I've got here is a CSV dump up to the time it got locked, in 2009, but I'm not sure I can convince ClientCorp that they should fund my investigations, so I may have to leave it till later to track down the deletions

                Bummer.

It must be said that one can weld a steel tank if necessary, but it needs steam cleaning & to be filled with detergent first.
