Penguin film was as bad as I expected.

Roast Chicken for lunch. Stuffing and bacon. Roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips. Cabbage, peas, broccoli too.

Opera was pretty tedious, shame as I was looking forward to it.

The meal however was way better, got served personally by the exec chef, head chef stopped by for a chat and I got 3 extra courses.

Wafer thin mint? Am a tad full.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather. Didn't properly realise it until I popped down to Sainsbury's just now. Had several momentary bouts of light-headedness, and a general feeling of being utterly bereft of oomph

Nothing notable happening in the bronchial department, so maybe I just need a bit of a rest.

Somewhere in the freezer is some stewing steak.

Naturally the lump I pulled out & defrosted looks very much like mince.

Ho hum.

I've never bought any mince so goodness knows how long it's been in there.

It's gone in the stew regardless.

Never made stew before so it's a bit of an adventure.

Especially since my slicing machine seems to have cut stuff rather too fine.
