Rice pudding to come just yet, have no idea if it is cooked all right as I put the oven on at the wrong setting"Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

I've got a Klan meeting on Wednesday and they're quite particuar.
Oh, alright then:
Shirts *5 - It's my one concession to professionalism.
t-shirts *5 - They will be given a cursory going over.
Trousers *3 - same shirt rationale.
2 Kids school uniforms *1 - that's just a matter of principle, they wouldn't notice.
Is that lot acceptable?Comment

ms#5 (the only one still at school) wears M&S non-iron shirts.
School suit is nominally dry clean only, although I have stuck the trousers in the wash a couple of times.
Admittedly we did inherit a trouser press when ms#daddy (god rest his soul) snuffed it, so trousers do get uncrinkled without having to do ironing. Although I am old enough to remember sta-prest...
Mr ms does iron a shirt for his monthly visit to the top secret electricity place in Wokingham though.Comment

I think this moment is called an epiphany.Last edited by mudskipper; 23 November 2014, 22:01.Comment

Don't do it folks. Or if you do do it, just share it with the person you are thanking.
