I reckon it takes about a day per hour time difference to properly get over jet lag. YMMV.

        Excellent pics BTW.

How did you find the food?

Food was mostly the restaurants that the tour guide took us to, which weren't that great TBH. But the food on the mountain was excellent - the cooks on the trail were amazing.

Ah, you mean the one that gives the tour guide the best backhander.

Did you try Alpaca? Or my favourite dish ever... Lomo Saltado (steak fried with spicy peppers, tomato and onion, served with chips AND rice. Oh yes.

Yep, had alpaca skewer, which was very nice.

Might have had the Lomo Saltado - sounds like one of our mountain dishes - although the chips were, disappointingly, served stone cold!

                  Morning denizens

Nice, solid eight hours of sleep, and woke up before somebody started unloading scaffolding a couple of houses down, rather than being rudely awakened by it
