Morning!
Went to Atul Kochhar's Benares restaurant in Berkley Square yesterday for lunch with GF#1. Absolutely fantastic! Passion fruit and Chutney Martini, Mumbai Spicy Martini cocktails, tandoori scallops with 4 different cauliflower textures (Jal Tarang), 3 pieces of tender curried fish, chicken murgh korma, fantastic creamy and velvety naan, tender lamb curry. I had a glass of Pinot Gris Reserve only as the bottles were quite pricey.
Hawksmoor prices and higher end than Cafe Spice. Great atmospheric venue as well. Recommend if you are a foody, a contractor and love curry.If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
