...A country noted for its raininess is the United Kingdom. The reputation is partly deserved because of the frequency of rain driven into the country by the south-western trade winds following the warm gulf stream currents. Areas along the western coasts (including those in Ireland) can receive between 1016 mm (40 inches, at sea-level) and 2540 mm (100 inches, on the mountains) of rain per year. However, what is less well known is that the eastern and southern half of the country is much drier, with the south east having a lower rainfall average than Jerusalem and Beirut at between 450 and 600 mm per year...

what's our average looking like this year i wonder?

In computer role-playing games, permanent death (sometimes permadeath or PD) is a situation in which player characters (PCs) die permanently and are removed from the game.[1] Less common terms with the same meaning are persona death and player death.[2] This is in contrast to games in which characters who are killed (or incapacitated) can be restored to life (or full health), often at some minor cost to the character.

Pantyhose Taro (Pansuto-Tarō) is a fictional villain in Rumiko Takahashi's anime and manga series Ranma ½.

"Taro" is a common ending for male given names in Japanese, or even a common name by itself. The actual pun in the Pantyhose part of his name is that all of the Chinese characters are named after beauty products, musk fragrances or lingerie.
