What are the clear signs a woman isn’t looking for a husband?

That’s all very well etc, but what puts me off promiscuous dating is that when things start looking up I begin to suspect less than honourable motives, i.e. that the woman is looking for marriage material rather than fun for a few weeks. I feel so guilt ridden about my manly feelings being misrepresented that I end up bottling it before things go anywhere and they end up frustrated and stalking me, etc, instead. This cat and mouse game can go on indefinitely and is perhaps crueller than just taking advantage of them. I’m sure I also miss out on real opportunities where females really aren’t looking for a husband.

Is ‘love and leave’ kinder than bottling it for fear of long term consequences and how does one get to discover their true intentions, without hurting feelings?

Also, what's the best way of dumping a woman in a nice way after a few weeks?

I know, and my fear is that they can detect this from distance. I’ve even been stalked by women with children! What are the four F’s?

Too right they can detect it - but who cares!

Hmm, I had considered that, but it would involve talking and I have found them mostly powerless if you don’t talk to them. The thing is I fancy them, but just probably not forever and I am upfront with those that I don’t fancy - I’ve yet to be stalked by an ugly woman for instance. Further to sasguru’s suggestion I did once try [to break things up before they even started] by email, but her friends wouldn’t give me her Email address. Things became complicated there because friends start stalking also and it becomes hard to distinguish the interested from those playing, being vengeful, etc.
