    Micro Bill Systems - MySexWorld

I've got a pop-up which keeps opening in IE, which says it's a bill for £39.99 for a subscription to MySexWorld. I haven't subscribed to whatever that is, honest m'lud.

It's got a customer services number, but I don't want to be charged £10 per minute probably, so I haven't rung it.

Question is, how do I get rid of it? I don't really want the kids or my missus seeing it, they might think it's genuine.

This sort of thing is damn irritating, I have had similar although (naturally) I never subscribed to them either!! Nor even looked at any sex related page, honest, truly, really. I never do, god forbid.

I rather suspect your browser has been hijacked to open a particular page, which opens the popup and then uses a bit of script to open the page you actually wanted. Forget the details but there is something on the net which should fix it, search for "browser hijack" or similar.

I had a similar problem when I wanted to restock my hen-house. I searched for young chicks and healthy cocks.

I had a similar problem when browsing for porn. I searched for c***s and a*******s, and I keep getting the Labour party website.

There is software to remove the popups, but removal may be illegal, since the installation asks you a number of times if you are sure that you want to install it.

There is an article about it here.

That's very interesting. I can't imagine that anyone who uses this computer has agreed to MBS's terms and conditions. And I can't get rid of it, even with the help of a friend who knows about these things. It keeps coming back.

My friend suggested getting a root kit hunter. Can anyone recommend one?

EDIT: FOR SOME REASON THIS HAS GONE INTO LIGHT RELIEF. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY? IT'S NOT AMUSING TO ME.
