    Andrew McIntyre

    And a response !!!

    Hi Simon,

Let me be very clear! I am a consultant working for Bradbury. This has never changed, never varied or waivered all through the last few months whilst I have been working to get contractors paid. I secured payments for a high number of contractors which is conveniently never mentioned in public forums!!!

I have been liaising with Barclays bank on behalf of Bradbury & Co and am merely their point of contact. They are liaising with me in relation to the appointment of any third-party administrator. They should NOT have given out my name as holding any official position within the Partnership or Bank as this is plainly false!

I will shortly be contacting Barclays via my solicitor to ensure they refrain from such irresponsible behaviour and also contacting the infamous forum operators with the same intention.

I suggest you now follow-up your enquiry through the designated channels put forward in official Bradbury correspondence, as my contract is now thankfully drawing to a close.

    Andrew Mc

    -----------------------------------------
Not very useful I admit, as getting a response through the official channels is pretty much p***ing into the wind. I haven't had a response from e-mails I sent in 2009 and I am sure I am not the only one.

Regarding his e-mail - would any one of the high number of contractors that he has secured payment for like to let the rest of us know ...

Congratulations on actually managing to get a response!!! What's your magic touch? All my emails to Andrew get bounced & the emails to the official address disappear into a black (unread) hole

        Another plan of attack

        Hi all,

I have today spoken to a friend of mine who works at Barclays. Although he cannot help with information about the actual accounts ie, is there any money in them !!, he does work with disgruntled customers etc etc.

He has suggested that we all write to the letters people in the money sections of The Times and The Telegraph (on a Saturday / Sunday). I am told that they do quite a lot of chasing/investigation work in the background.

I was told that it is Diana Wright in The Times, I will post the name and address of the Telegraph contact later unless someone else can post either or both of them in the meantime.

        Cheers,

        Simon

          Bradbury

I have recently been advised by Fleming Laing to get a solicitor but that I should check out this forum for the poeple who are being stitched up by Bradbury.

On one hand I was lucky, bradbury actually made the 1st 08/09 installment & at the right level but then fraudulantly went back the HMRC & reduced the required amount & then paid only a small 2nd installment whihc means I am £10k down in 08/09 & £2K for 09/10.

To really give me a kick they are now saying I owe the partnership £15k after charging me something like £20k in fees for doing 2 tax returns!!!

So what do I do now? I've mailed the action group but what now? Does anyone have a good solicitor or does the action group have one?

Also was anyone a member of Heyder Trevino partnership?

            a) Wait for a response from the action group.
            b) Write to your MP
            c) Contact the HMRC fraud dept
            d) Contact the SFO
            e) Write to Watchdog and the papers
            f) Any others I've missed, if you look through the forum you may find some others and notes on the others above.

Thats the first I've heard of them after money back for doing anything. As far as I was aware they didn't do any tax returns for anyone, let alone pay the HMRC anything.

If you need any other help just shout.

The story so far for me....

I'm not any clearer than anyone else on here with regards to how all this will turn out, however here is what I know so far.

              1. All partnerships are wound up and Bradbury are appointing an administrator to distribute funds owed (how much and when I don't know).

              2. The police are aware and are not taking action because there is no crime committed....(theft would be an obvious one to my mind).

              3. HMRC are aware, but not sure how they view the whole situation or what action they are taking, if any.

I have today, sent an email to action group, so not heard back from them yet.

I am in the same boat as everyone else to the tune of 12.5K, and I have to remain hopeful of getting my money back because the only other outcome doesn't bare thinking about.

I actually got money paid to me

                swilmot ...

After many weeks/months calling and mailing I finally got a payment confirmed and made with Andrew McIntyre's help.

The responses were few and far between but I got a couple of calls as well. This was back in August/September time.

I still haven't been able to get the fines/fees HMRC imposed for late payment returned and have not been able to get any response since with regards to the ludicrous fees (They charged me about 12k over 11 months!!!!) but released.

Although I think the extra fees and fine have cost me around 6k (probably only 60% of that when you take into account tax liability) they did pay out the 12k as promised ... it just took 2 months when I was promised it in 2 weeks.

I do hope those that have joined the battle later on manage to squeeze at least some money out of these muppets.

                J.

                  Poppy,

That payment that Andrew McIntyre organised was for this tax year.

The previous tax year is why I have the fine from HMRC as they didn;t make the payment.

Luckily I had left the partnership before january so checked whether my tax was paid for last year. When it wasn't I got on their backs about it several times a day before they started shutting down the phones and E-mail.

I even spoke to Andy Nyiri a few times and in the end annoyed him enough for him to make the 10k payment they owed me from last year. That was finally made in April I think which was nearly 3 months late hence the fines and interest from HMRC.

I am angry that they have stolen 5k off me in fees plus the fines and interest that they promised to pay and now ignore me but when I read this board I am thankful that I found out so soon or I could have been in a much worse position.

Good luck to you all and here's hoping that there is money in the pot when it is finally found and cracked open.

                  J.

Is that payment for this tax year - i.e. 2008/09 or from 2007/08 - as I have heard that people were having problems from the previous year too?

Just to confirm, has anybody found any evidence that Bradbury did actually submit our 2008/9 partnership accounts to HMRC?

                      08/09 Accounts

Hi, I spoke to the HMRC today & they said they had been filed for Heyder Trevino but that as they were filed online only the nominated parter can get a copy. As I have no idea who any of my partners are this is a problem. I explained & they gave me an address to write to & they may make an acception. Fingers crossed. The benefit I'm told by my accountant, is tha the partnership submission also includes the names of all the partners...... This is why I am asking for mine.
