Once again Please go and correct anything I've got factually wrong with links to the appropriate part of Isle of Mann trust law -as I believe everything I've posted is correct

You may not like what I've posted but I'm trying to shatter the illusions that some posters here still have that everything is fine - the reality is that you've been tricked by scammers who are after everything they can get and they can legally get it.

Yes, people should speak to a professional, one that has the backing of a professional body.

I think that a Eek has been saying that. Don’t go by the recommendation of anonymous posters.

But eek is to many people on here just an anonymous poster who is peddling unprofessional advice.
People must take anything he says with a very large pinch of salt....

I trust what etc have told me and they are professional. As you are not involved and never have been, most people on here would be better off not listening to your fear marketing, and taking advice from a professional advisor.

Once again Go and check what I've posted and correct any inaccuracies regarding revokable trusts.

Then go and check how loans actual work (again in the Isle of Mann) and work out when the clock regarding time served expiry actually started ticking.. I know the answer there and it's not what you want to hear.

So yes I'm not involved but I'm the nearest thing you are going to find to someone who knows the complete picture about the mess you are in.

Etc and Wtt know the tax issues (both loans and iht).

They however don't understands trusts and that is an area I know about as it was what an accountancy firm I worked at specialised in..

Given that you have been dealing with etc have they said anything?

Please be careful releasing information of your dealings with EtcTax to Eek or any other anonymous poster on this forum, who seems to be fishing for information as to how EtcTax are handling this. Do not cut and paste any future correspondence you receive from EtcTax or any other adviser on here. I repeat, do not disclose any advice that EtcTax or any other professional adviser give you on this public forum. Your adviser may be relying on this information to help and defend you and it may be reckless of you to divulge it here to strangers who may not have your best interests at heart. Help and support others where you can but be careful of what information you release on here. I am sure your professional tax adviser will advise the same.

As I've already pointed out I'm not anonymous to the mods on this site and the fact I'm allowed to post here should tell you an awful lot - I don't post stuff for fun and believe me trying to drum into you had seriously bad a situation you are in is not fun..

So you clearly don't know me - give me evidence I'm wrong and I'll shut up - but until then I'm sorry that I'm shattering your illusion / dream that everything will be all right because I really don't think it will be.
