    Demon eyes is back....

BBC News - UKIP 'not the answer' to 21st Century issues says Blair

UKIP has "no solutions to the problems of the 21st Century", former Prime Minister Tony Blair has said.

The Labour politician said the EU needed to "listen and lead" in response to the outcome of elections, which saw a rise in support for anti-EU parties, and stop doing "irritating" things".

Mr Blair said it must also "confront and expose" parties like UKIP.

"You look underneath that UKIP facade and you see something pretty nasty and unpleasant," he told BBC Radio 4.

Mr Blair, prime minister between 1997 and 2007, said the rationale for the EU was "probably stronger than it has ever been" in a world of growing economic superpowers such as China and India.

"You have got to take on people who, within countries, who are arguing for a combination of anti-EU and anti-immigration policies which are not the answer," he said.
so now our Tone is against UKIP does any one want to support them?

India relies on the UK and USA for all of its wealth. Without our patronage it would have very little. India will not be a superpower at the expense of the West

Indeed. The growth of India has in fact come to a grinding halt.

India’s economic model has essentially failed. Talk of matching East Asia’s growth rates has been exposed as wishful thinking. Superpower dreams are giving way to the same old reality of poverty, depleted ground water and graft.
We can now see that growth averaging 8.2pc from 2004 to 2012 was an anomaly, kept alive by fiscal largesse at the top of the cycle. A torrid global boom masked all sins, itself the result of negative real interest rates in the West, the yen carry trade from Japan, China’s reserve accumulation and ultimately a flood of dollar liquidity that leaked everywhere from the US Federal Reserve.

PS Bliar is a fine one to talk about something pretty nasty and unpleasant under a facade.

If only it had helped the poor they would have had a huge market to sell to.

And yet UKIP wants to pull out of Europe, destroying our car industry, in order to trade with the likes of India and China
You couldn't make stupidity of that sort up.
          Hard Brexit now!

Are you saying that if the UK pulls out of the EU it will stop trading with the EU?

No it will be a bit like Switzerland where prices on everything are high.
Try buying a steak in Zurich - £20 for a small one if you are lucky.
And all the foreign owned car companies will relocate to Europe - they are only here for access to European markets - you think the Germans won't be rubbing their hands with glee if they can put import duties on Jags and Range Rovers?

It won't do the british car industry any favours. Nissan, toyota etc are here because we are in the eu, they'll move. And don't think the eu will be any less self interested than we are towards the jocks i.e. they'll butt**** us if there is money in it. I mean, I cant imagine vag and daimler wanting to shut toyota and nissan out, can you?

Will they also be rubbing their hands with glee when the UK starts sticking tariffs on VWs Audis, BMWs Mercedes, Porsche or do the Germans buy more British cars than the Brits buy German? I suppose it is beyond the limits of the bits of plankton lying between your ears to possibly conceive that maybe the UK might do some trade deals with the EU.

More likely people will get stuck driving tatas as part of our trade deal with india, or rehashed allegros in a 70s redux.
