Halal Meat?

If they are stunned in normal fashion I don't have a problem with somebody saying a daft prayer but I certainly object to the other sort which is about 12% of Halal/Kosher meat according to the RSPCA.

I remember when I was working in Israel and having Kosher chicken, tasted bloody awful in that it had no taste, plus the Magnum ice was not any good due to no dairy products used. Went over to Jaffa the next day to an Arab restaurant (with my Israeli colleagues) and it was bloody excellent. Sitting next to the Med in hot sunshine, ice cold Heineken and plates of various exotic eats...

My favourite food is Lebanese food.

Perhaps it might have something to do with the political/cultural atmosphere of the country? Why don't we here about Indonesia/India in the news considering they are the countries with the largest Muslim populations? Or is it just your constant islamaphobic scaremongering?
