The Scottish government can only deal with the referendum in Scotland as that is their area of responsibility under devolution. Only the Westminster government can make the referendum UK wide.Comment

I think you'll find that Salmond doesn't have the authority to call a referendum in England.
If the English actually want to separate from Scotland, the solution is simple. Vote in a party that has a referendum of that type on it's manifesto. Simple.When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment
