How are you able to cancel the contract right away? Does Refresh remove lock-in?

Ask an adult if needs be.

Not if they believe the order was fraudulent and wished it to go no further..

But as we are playing a game of how big a numpty is the OP you did make your original order on o2's website and you didn't order a phone and o2 contract from a third party which sells o2 contracts?

You seem to have been rather economic with your quoting there. The comment above shows my reply to that post.

Then again 's do find following a conversation very difficult as the above demonstrates.

None of your comments answer my questions though

I think you will find the above does rather well. Either way we know the truth now, your credit rating is too crap to get a mobile phone contract.

just following your logic on another thread...

              From o2's website

How much does it cost to end your contract early on O2 Refresh? What do you charge for the leftover Airtime Plan?
With O2 Refresh, there's no penalty for ending your contract early. All you have to do is pay off the balance of your Phone Plan. There's no termination charge for ending your Airtime Plan once you've settled your Phone Plan.
So having paid £240 for the phone upfront all I need to do is ask them to unlock the phone, give notice for on the contract and its mine.

As for the phone its a bit big and I really should have picked the black one rather than the yellow one (didn't see the option when I saw the offer last week).. Nothing that a cover won't fix..

This thread reminds me of the time Churchill posted an assembler test and then got completely brutalised by AtW.

Oh, and I picked the yellow one over the black one.

Just phone them up tomorrow and order a bloody phone.

I had to phone O2 up twice for them to sort my sim-only deal out.

The first time I spoke to a cretin who demanded info I didn't want to give, there as the second time I spoke to someone who put the order through without this so called "required info".

I later found out the game they were up to - they were trying to change my personal home phone number to O2 business phone and broadband, I refused to give them the number on both occasions and they wouldn't accept the Virgin business one....
