I had to phone O2 up twice for them to sort my sim-only deal out.

The first time I spoke to a cretin who demanded info I didn't want to give, there as the second time I spoke to someone who put the order through without this so called "required info".

I later found out the game they were up to - they were trying to change my personal home phone number to O2 business phone and broadband, I refused to give them the number on both occasions and they wouldn't accept the Virgin business one....
See OP for reasons why I can't. They are not open weekends.

Have you heard of the concept of the lunch break? They last at least 30 minutes and you can usually take them anytime between 12 and 2pm. I'm sure you can walk somewhere with a signal...

You can eat while you are working before or after.

Sorry for being petulant. I was in a foul mood last night.

I just object to having to go out of my way to give them the business when they can't be arsed to fulfil an obligation of contacting me as they state in their own fudging email. Then insult to injury they lose my order.

At least we have nailed their piss poor operating model to my poor credit rating.

That's a bit unfair when you admit that

So is it really the case that in this day and age I can only do this face to face?
which clearly shows that they can't contact you during the day as you have no access to a phone on which they can contact you on.

But at least by admitting it you are on the first step to resolving the issue

I am so glad I am not you eek, or worse, your long suffering client.

It states, in the email, from O2, that they, that's O2, will contact me, by email, up to 4 hours, after the initial order, regardless of the credit check, that's regardless of the credit check, yes regardless of the credit check to let me know the outcome.

They lost my ******* order. They lost my ******* order. They lost my ******* order.

This is on them, not me.

A new day, thought if I try repeating myself a few times it might get through.

So they lost your order. Is it really worth this amount of anguish? Have you nothing better to get upset about?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Why dont you just go into town on Saturday armed with some info from your Ltd and get a phone ???

Its not that hard is it ?

Also the phone number for Orange/EE business support is different to the pay as you go one.

As you work in the city, can't you just get a later train back home and use that time to go to a shop and place an order ?
