The most prevalent category (aside from cancers) are neurological disorders, the treatments available for things like MS, ME, Parkinsons, Alzheimers have changed very little in the last 10-15 years and all seek to manage symptoms as opposed to reversing or curing the disease. Stem cell treatments and such like are still yet to be proven even in rats.. Typically, it takes 10 years to make available treatments proven on lab rats to human-kind ... That's if they do transition successfully.
