The real issue here is that many types of jobs which are in fact skilled or at least semi skilled are nowadays treated as unskilled, and the hiring choices reflect this attitude. I am sick and tired of paying good money for crap service, just because proprietor hires workers with no skills, no experience and no aptitude, just to increase his margin.
If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.Comment

Hi does have a point. British Asian unemployed refuse to work as a Curry chefs because this type of work carries low prestige in Asian community.
