Japan Scrambles Jets In Response To Chinese Military Planes | Zero Hedge
Just in case the world did not have enough potential geopolitical flashpoints and near-crises, here comes old faithful - the simmering nationalist rivalry between China and Japan, which may have been pushed to the backburner in light of the grand return of Cold War 2.0, but is neither forgotten nor resolved. In fact, recent developments which have seen Japan fully back the US strategy in Ukraine while China has voiced its support for Russia, will probably only enflame the direct tension between the two Asian superpowers. Moments ago we got the latest manifestation of precisely this when Japan scrambled military jets on Sunday to counter three Chinese military planes that flew near Japanese airspace, defence officials said.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

10 Signs We Are Headed Into World War III - Listverse
Worth a read. It would seem to me the masses are starting to wake up to the fact that WW3 is now a foregone conclusion. When confusion and misinformation get together in the dark, paranoia is born. Fears of war, violence, and oppression fester and grow in the minds of the populace pushing everything but a misguided assurance of certain doom into the shadows. Out of this cramped and huddled mindset we get the bastardized half-brother of critical thinking: conspiracy theories. Claiming that World War III is just over the horizon is as crazy as it gets, but the state of the world is showing some eerie similarities to the pre–World War II global picture. And history is a creature of habit.

War in the Ukraine = pretty likelyOriginally posted by suityou01 View PostNow, how to convince Doodab. Mmmmm.
War in the Ukraine involving western boots on the ground = not very likely
WW3 happening one day = fairly certain
WW3 happening next week = I will take my chances on the lottery, the odds are better
The difference between you and I is that I will be convinced when it happens, and you will remain convinced it is going to happen long after it doesn't.While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

So sad to see someone so indoctrinated in Western propaganda. And someone so intelligent as well.

Where do you get this "western propoganda" crap from? I've presented a Russian centric view to explain their behaviour in the context of western expansionism. I haven't bought into any western propoganda at all, I've simply believed the people who make the decisions when they've said their response will be sanctions and diplomacy and they don't want a military escalation, which seems to be a good call given that that's exactly what has been happening.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostSo sad to see someone so indoctrinated in Western propaganda.
