The only way you would not be slowest is sabotage.....

It's ok MS, you won't be at the back, I have just signed up!

look forward to seeing Brillo & Dallas disappear into the distance.

Probably be MF & Me at the back, stopping at every pub.

Sorted, apparently I have some training partners, one of the yummy mummies sister is entering a team. Lots of MILF's in Lycra in my future mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Now to get Mrs V on a bike.

There's still spaces in our team if anyone wants to join (or sign up their spouse) - need to sign up before Wednesday.

Vetran - you're not a million miles from me, so we could do a training ride when the weather gets better.

Mrs V was asked, she wasn't keen to join. she is going to pick me up from Clapham or Brighton, just to see what state I'm in.

Sounds good, anything to get me on the bike, don't want to embarrass myself. I'm off out for an hour this afternoon! look forward to suity style posts about chafing!

Cracking start. You don't chafe until you start doing proper miles (think 30 plus). Then chafing becomes an issue.

Not peculiar to me, but all sports cyclists which is why they where lycra padded shorts. Of course if you want to do it in your pyjamas then I'm cool with that
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

wore Lycra and the boys were padded. I did hear of another competitor today (part of team Yummy) who went on a 12 miler at the weekend, her little botty is apparently red raw. We had to lend her baby creme (from CarreFour which is unbelievably good).
