I discovered the other day that if I put my bathroom scales on the bath mat, I weigh two stone less. So I'll do that insteadComment

Recipe please...
2 squeezed oranges
2 squeezed lemons
6 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 bottle good Chianti
1 tsp ground mixed spice
1/2 cup (add to taste) light brown sugar
A good dosing of good ruby port
Add all and cook slightly pre-full-boiling for 20 mins.
You can add a whisked egg white as I did to the cooled mixture but I don't have an ice cream maker so it required a frequent amount of mixing during freezing - ice cream maker may be better. The port should make it soft enough - take care on pre-defrost for serving - it melts quickly.
If you ask nicely I'll tell you my cinnamon ice cream recipe - whole family said it was lovely to the point my sister has not returned the bloody carton of it!If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

As for the cinnamon ice-cream, I'll pass, not a big fan.Comment
