I am in holiday mode until Monday - gave myself two weeks of eat and drink what I like and I'm damn well going to use the whole two weeks - still alarming amounts of junk food and booze to get through before I clamp down again. Sadly the mini-keg of ale from the local microbrewery was drained last night

(1) I went to the pub for lunch today and drank Appletiser. Turns out it has more calories than beer

Agree with all that, especially the inability to stop at one - what the hell is the point of one drink? But will persevere nonetheless. From a calories point of view, if nothing else, I need it.Comment
