Look on the bright side. Least you're not as ill as Suity.Originally posted by doodab View PostWell, the scan came back saying the chemo I was on wasn't really working so I had a little break to get my energy back and now I've started a different regime, which is purely IV so hopefully avoids any issues with my messed up digestive system not absorbing the pills properly. I'm on the second cycle and I do feel better so hopefully this one is going to kick some tumour butt. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Good luck dd.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Generally pretty good, I manage to work a bit, play my keyboards a bit, play with the kids from time to time. I do spend quite a lot of time snoozing lately though it seems that might be due to a shortage of red blood cells, so I'm having a transfusion later in the week which should perk me up.Originally posted by d000hg View PostHow are you doing day-to-day?

MIL was like a new woman every time she had a tranfusion. Literally went from barely able to walk across the room to bouncing around like a well person. Hope it does the same for you (except the woman bit, obviously - that would be a bit extreme).Originally posted by doodab View PostGenerally pretty good, I manage to work a bit, play my keyboards a bit, play with the kids from time to time.
