MIL was like a new woman every time she had a tranfusion. Literally went from barely able to walk across the room to bouncing around like a well person. Hope it does the same for you (except the woman bit, obviously - that would be a bit extreme).

I had one before and it worked wonders so I'm quite looking forward to it.

Generally pretty good, I manage to work a bit, play my keyboards a bit, play with the kids from time to time. I do spend quite a lot of time snoozing lately though it seems that might be due to a shortage of red blood cells, so I'm having a transfusion later in the week which should perk me up.

I feel like a vampire saying that

Nobody told me this the first time I gave blood and I went to the pub. No idea how I got home.

In which case mine resembles a set of rotten, leaning posts with tattered nets found on a bleak public playing field. Weeks of concrete bowling balls coupled with 'diarrhea', which is basically high speed expulsion of said objects, caused by the chemo don't make for a pleasant combination.

Still if that's the worst thing I'm suffering then I'll not complain too much, I can think of much worse.
