I remember the 1987 storm and riding on a motorbike to work (about 70 miles.) Bloody hair raising with the bike at 60 degrees, trying to overtake lorries wobbling all over the place or laying on their side. See what tomorrow brings here as we are already experiencing strong winds (I have to drive through a dodgy weather area) although yesterday was beautiful, I was in a t-shirt in 20 degree weather drinking Apfelwein at the footie.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

South West Trains have a revised timetable - slower trains and nothing until 08:00.
