    Well done you

And no confusion, you did say you'd bought one.

I think we can put this down to you having an economy with the truth.
So you own a gl that does 20mpg and 0-60 in 8 seconds and a diesel r class that drags its arse to 60 in over 9 seconds and you are calling my choice that does it 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and does 30 to the gallon a cooking engine are you sure you didn't hit your head?

          I thought it did 47

So you have got one? Make your mind up

We have a 7 seat 4x4 MPV that does 150mph, 0-62 in 7.7, has almost 200 ftlb of torque more than yours and has better fuel consumption. So, more room, off road capability and faster through the gears.

We have a GL320CDi, which makes yours look like a Mondeo inside, is as luxurious a car as you could want which is extremely capable off and on road. 8 seconds to 60, and still has more torque than yours has. It really does make yours look the cooking version it is.

Now, lets look at who's going to have lost more money you can't give away large petrol Mercs

I can't believe I have met one of the 10 people dumb enough to buy a cooking petrol Merc - That is genuinely funny.

Ok, what are you laughing at you balding, fat, moustachioed four-eyed freak?

            Oops, forgot you're single.

I wouldn't have any complaints either, for you've bought the top diesel in the range, not the cooking version; almost same torque as Bob Spud too in a sportier, and lighter chassis.

Hurrah and hurrah thrice more for BS and his depreciation classic I can see a few people 3 years down the line licking their lips at his 35k loss

Yes but seeing as the new V8 500 engines are now the same output as the older AMG 55 it's all gone way OTT. The 350 is more than fast enough to get a driving ban in this country.
But it will still achieve a fairly decent 30mpg upwards in normal driving.

No they aren't, dont be a dunce, the new 5.5 V8's 'only' have 404 bhp, vs the 536+ they used to have.

100 is enough to get you a driving ban you fool

To be honest, if I had the money I'd buy a C63 AMG

I love the E63 AMG, and RS6, I must admit, even more so in Estate form, as it's just so wrong. The Merc just sounds, and I hate this word, awesome.

I'll upload a video later of a friend who works for Mclaren and the SLR he had for a while (as a company thing, not his own) and it sounds like Elgar.
