The difference is in the goods an agent sells compared to a pimp. No sensible individual would want to shag what we agents have to offer

The thing is I've met a ton of people in jobs they cannot do. Utterly feckless. And guess what supplied by agents!

Talking to a neighbour who is a gas safe heating engineer and plumber (he's also a fully qualified sparky) and he's hardly at work. Turns out after fixing a boiler he offers a pay monthly service like British Gas to cover call outs and repairs. He's got loads of local BTL landlords subscribing and this income means apart from the odd failure and once a year servicing he doesn't need to work.

Anyone thinking of leaving IT might consider this option.

You need to find something you can offer automatically which people are willing to pay money for. Then spend time either supporting / improving the service or creating another one.

The Germans may be efficient at manufacturing but their service sector efficiency (which is still the majority of their economy) is way behind the UK's, especially London's.
Which is why mediocrities like you can make a living over there but can't here.
