I learnt the hard way too, fortunately that was many years ago and since then I only do business on my own.

Don't let it get you down, being successful may take several goes. Don't give up.

Good advice, for all us on the bench just need it to come sooner.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

sorry to hear that, I look forward to hearing Cliphead Inc rising again (say in a deep south voice) but making shedloads!

Yep business & friends can be a bad combination, subbed out to a mate and he shafted me, I just lost a customer in the back of beyond which was a relief I saw it as cheap in real terms.

Most of the big success stories in the US have been bankrupted a few times first, so you missed a bullet if you are going to be the Scottish Lord Sugar. What's 'You're Fired' in Gaelic?

        Up & at em!

That sucks. Cashflow problem hits small business - such a common sadness.

If cashflow is an issue and you have a warchest, does that imply you had significant outgoings?

Sorry to hear the news. I sympathise with the cashflow problem, since I am direct and in a proper consultancy model, clients 1 and 2 treat me as any other supplier. Luckily I have no outgoings.

Same here, well I'm paying some developers but only because I can contract and afford to hire them and still have profit left over. Having to stump substantial money up for a plan B terrifies me!
