I would be interested to know why the anti-gay brigade feel that gay homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry. And I mean real reasons i.e. not hiding behind 'the bible says marriage is between a man and a woman' carp. Seems the only real reason is that they feel gay people are on a lower level than them.

Just want someone to come out and say "I don't believe in gay marriage because I am prejudiced. Seems the only real reason.

And no I don't believe in any form of Cod, Haddock or otherwise. Hence I find it disturbing that people actually have views based upon these beliefs. I'm sick of people being allowed to use their religious beliefs as an excuse for not following the same laws as everyone else.

Marriage is an institution to protect children. Since homosexualists can't conceive children, it's pointless to grant them a "right" they don't need.

THe bible doesn't say you have to be a bigot, it says marriage is between one man and one woman. You are the one who claims that this is bigoted.

And if marriage and religion are man-made contrivances, your whole "not a real reason" argument means nothing. Marriage means nothing in the first place. For that matter, bigotry is a human invention too.
