So with that in mind what you are reading must be a bag o' tulipe. Or could it be to do with being platform (OS) agnostic? Not tied down to having to be run on *nix / MS / whatever?Comment

Channel - i.e. customer experience is the same regardless of how they interact with the system
Technology - i.e. works with oracle or SQL Server
..... - i.e. doesn't mind whatever .... is

It means when it goes live you cannot pray that it is going to work. Have to use some other certified method to get it through the final gate such as crossing fingers or kissing a rabbits foot.
