I don't have enough data to decide.
If most of the new people are educated, law-abiding and hard-working, then I welcome it.
      If not, it's a problem.
      Hard Brexit now!

I actually find them rather sweet. My wife minds 2 of them and they are really cute & can be very funny the African culture seems to instill a directness that is disarming in a 2 year old.

We have also had Indian / Arabic Muslim, Indian Sikh and Hindu children that we minded. Some of the parents were lovely some weren't, but we found the same with the white ones you take people as you find them regardless of colour.

I was actually thinking about the inter racial tensions and under achieving which will build desperation and anger.

Its not about racism, forget that, its about manipulation and greed.

            .
Do you actually live in London? There's probably less racial tension here than up North.
And where do you get this under-achieving thing? People come to the capital to achieve, not the other way around.

A visa auction is the best approach to immigration. Keep out the pooros/scroungers and raise some tax revenue in the process.

No I live in Slough. We have a large racial mix and some perceptible tension. It is one of the most discussed subjects (even if I just sit there and listen).

The under achieving is down to school statistics certain ethnic groups under perform, some however are statistically likely to perform the best. Both groups are recent immigrants.

Most people come to the capital to get work.

Most would probably apply, but surely the relevant question is, are they significantly more of each than the indigenous population?

If they were on average only about the same then, although they may be adding to GDP they obviously cannot be adding to what matters, the GDP per capita. You do not raise any average with yet more average. What is the point of a skilled doctor if you also bring in a lot of people who need the full time services of a doctor? Where is any advantage for us that outweighs the huge problems this increase in population causes, pressure on land, schools, housing and infrastructure?

Not to mention the conflicts which inevitably arise when people have entirely different ideas about what is acceptable, what taxpayers money should be spent on and what the future direction of society should be.

See previous suggestion about visa auction. Setting up a system where a finite amount of visa are auctioned to the highest bidders will ensure the people who come here will be the ones that intend to be the most productive.

Of course we'd have to leave the EU, boo hoo.
