Personally i prefer practical tests to being asked dumb questions where i have to feign enthusiasm. As long it's applicable to the job though. A lot of those LeetCode tests have no relevance to anything i have ever written in my career....

It's taken a lot of the fun out of coding though. Sure reducing boilerplate is good to an extent but sometimes just bashing out code like that on autopilot gave you some mental downtime. I find most of my day is just configuring, deploying, PRs and issue fixing now. AI is doing most of the satisfying...Last edited by Robinho; Today, 09:29.
