Sounds like tomorrow is going to be fun here.

I'm going to chuck some salt down tonight so I don't have to do any path clearing tomorrow.

Still had problems getting back by train - finished the journey by getting a taxi as I couldn't be arsed waiting for all the SWT ****wittery...

Boy we can't cope with snow. 3 and a half hours to go 40 miles.

And most of the issue is because lanes are blocked due to tailbacks from an accident on a different road 6 sodding miles away.

Nothing here. Apparently a road in Rutland was a bit icy this morning, which has inspired the local rag to run their annual "will we have a white Christmas" piece

                Re: Snow watch

No snow here, but just a few miles away in Northamptonshire there was snow, and I was in a Oxford this evening, and saw the remains.

-5C and snow on the way falling onto already icy ground so it won't be a pleasant few days. Haven't quite got stocked up so may need to rely on a mate with a 4x4 to bring in the supplies.

Here in NL, traffic is standing still in the whole of the north and east, traffic information service saying 'there is no point trying to use the motorway, and our once excellent (before an aborted privatisation) national railways have cancelled 50% of the trains.

There's nearly 2 cm of snow in some parts.
