It would come from average earners who can't afford to pay for themselves.
Most of us are sufficiently well off we can consider a minor tax increase as an annoyance, but the 80% where the majority of tax is now collected are already being hit by the top 1% avoiding more tax and the top 10% following suit this will only get worse.

This is what makes it impossible to fix our economic problems and anyone who trys will be punished at the ballet box, so none of them will ever dare and this is why we have pretend austerity now. I was reading a football forum the other day where a thread on jobs was going on and there was a general agreement that taxation should be raised so the government can create jobs.
I'm of the opinion that a great deal of people have absolutely no idea of what a government is there to do, worse than that they have such limited intelligence that they have a completely warped opinion of what a government should do and that there is such a large number of these people that they inflict their stupidity on me with the democratic system.
Some people should not be allowed to vote. Claim benefits, banned, no qualifications, banned, criminal, banned, thinking that I should have to pay to keep someone in a job, banned.Comment

Interesting survey yesterday
80% wanted more taxes & cuts.
25% thought these should affect them personally.
from memory but those were the rough percentages.Comment
