The kind of people who have children to fund their own lives are exactly the kind of people who will get pregnant again, and then watch their children starve as they have first pick of the food.Originally posted by The Spartan View PostI'm not saying I don't support that but the fact is the money isn't being spent to care and feed them properly as it is at present and that's not to say they're not getting enough money as they are.
Hence my question about vouchers rather than money.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Here's the thing. What proportion of these families had the kidskids while on benefits, and what proportion fell into benefits while they already had the kids?Originally posted by The Spartan View PostI've no love for them eitherThe material prosperity of a nation is not an abiding possession; the deeds of its people are.

The working poor are relying on food parcels so all this means is the unworking poor will rely more on them as well.Originally posted by speling bee View PostHere's the thing. The government is already trying to force people who are poor to rely more on charity than the state as well as trying to remove council tax exemptions from them.
And as charity equals your voluntary donations plus the money the government (taxpayer) gives to provide cheaper services, you are paying anyway just not on the books."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
