I also like lefties who embrace and encourage capitalism as a force for good. Lefties who make a comfortable living from capitalist activities and then criticise capitalism I cannot abide (ie contractors with this viewpoint)Originally posted by Old Greg View PostMilliband is a treacherous New Labour capitalist piece of tulip. Problem is you call everyone a leftie who doesn't agree with your 19th century, stuck in the mud, binary viewpoint. Exactly the sort of viewpoint that has got us in this mess in the first place.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostI also like lefties who embrace and encourage capitalism as a force for good. I happen to be a rightie who can see that things are not working. I'm also a pragmatist, not a blinkered idealogue like you, and would use any ideas, from the right or left, that worked.
Frankly this right or left debate is so 19th century.
The world has moved on and we know so much more about psychology - we need to get the incentivisation right - and its not about money. There need to be a consensus between management, workers and government as there is in Germany, where everyone gives up something so all can gain.Hard Brexit now!

It is a pity you are so ignorant.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostI also like lefties who embrace and encourage capitalism as a force for good. Lefties who make a comfortable living from capitalist activities and then criticise capitalism I cannot abide (ie contractors with this viewpoint)
I make a good living out of business activities, not capitalist activities. My income is derived from the value of my labour, not from capital such as through the surplus value of people I employ.
Tell me where the hypocrisy is.Comment
