As long as you are happy that you will no longer participate in the slaughter of animals, and that you feel that your choice is valid then thats fine.
However telling us that we will all die because we eat meat makes you sound like a born again christian their one true god edict...Comment

There isn´t a great deal of difference between raw veganism and veganism. The family were having supplements, and what about the Scottish kid being admitted to hospital with rickets, and the spine of an 80 year old. There´s no cure for that.
Isn´t it easier just to give them a balanced diet than waiting for them to have stunted growth or rickets, both of which are irreversible.I'm alright JackComment

I heard of one teenage girl wanting to be a vegan. She had nut and wheat allergies. Lasted about four days (before she realised that some life-style choices aren't avaiable to everyone).Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

The problem with malnutrition is not caused by the vegan diet, you can eat nothing but chips and say you are vegan. There are plenty of families whose kids are obese because they have been given fast food or processed crap. You can get all the nutrients you need from a vegan diet. Please no more one off stories, post some scientific papers at least.Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostThere isn´t a great deal of difference between raw veganism and veganism. Yeah, of course nuts and wheat are the only food options for a veganOriginally posted by NotAllThere View PostI heard of one teenage girl wanting to be a vegan. She had nut and wheat allergies. Lasted about four days (before she realised that some life-style choices aren't avaiable to everyone).

While it's possible to eat healthily as a vegan, it's easier to get all the nutrients you need if you use supplements.
Funny though, despite the claim that we're not meant to eat meat, if you eat a small amount of meat, you don't need to keep close watch on what you eat to make sure you get enough nutrients, nor do you need supplements. Which kind of indicates that a vegan diet isn't really that healthy.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
