I'd wager asking someone who has just lost it enough to throw a whole puter out of a window, isn't going to be in a good frame of mood for a while and possibly a bit unhinged naturally. I pour tea on mine to make it suffer when it annoys me.

Not yet. A decent audience promptly assembled to witness the tantrum and the female neighbour with the sharp tongue* was in full scolding mode.

* Nice enough lass when I first met her. Had to downgrade her from "want to know her better" to "don't get involved" after hearing some unfortunate bloke get a prolonged earful.

Closer inspection reveals it was a DVD player.

My guess is that holiday weekend plus booze plus warm weather plus malfunctioning DVD player pushed someone over the edge.
