Blimey, that's some injury and an impressive recovery. Hopefully the supportive community at CUK helped you get over the psychological trauma of it all. on a serious note, knew a lady who took the tip off her finger and it took her ages to get over it mentally - went into major depression and had far longer off work than the physical injury warranted.

And Brillo wasn't kidding about the gaffa tape. I gaffa taped my hand to a chainsaw so that I could fell some trees. I couldn't grip the chainsaw as my hand wasn't completely healed
