If everything isn't black and white, I say, 'Why the hell not?'
John Wayne (My guru, not to be confused with my beloved prophet Jeremy Clarkson) -
While doing some drilling in my kitchen, I plugged my cheap microwave into an extension lead without an earth.
When I then tried using it, the whole thing was distinctly, and almost painfully, tingly to the touch. So I imagine there's a fair bit of leakage.

Don't bother drying your clothes in the microwave, it doesn't work. They catch fire and are still wet when they come out...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

As stated above, you need to take the turn table out or stop it turning. Then use anything that melts when cooking. Short burst in the micro wave should give a pattern of melted and not melted in stripes.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostApparently you can use a microwave and some sticky toffee pudding or something to measure the speed of light.
Speed = frequency × wavelength so measure distance from peak to peak and multiply by your ovens stated frequency and presto. (I think)Just saying like.
