    Urban myth debunked?

    Is it still dangerous to look into a microwave oven while it's cooking something?

    Just wondered like...

      Wasn't it RH who put his gf's hamster in a microwave and somehow the door got slammed?

        Put your hand in front of it. If it heats up and starts crackling, then it's not safe and is probably tulip at cooking food too.

                Didn't ya learn about polarisation at school?

                Another fun fact about microwaves-- take the turn table out and cook something. You can work out the wavelength from the cooking pattern it leaves.
                It's about time I changed this sig...
