Yep - I should have booked my holiday in Yorkshire.

I must remember to dig out the card and present for Mrs BP tomorrow before I leave the house.

I bought my wife a new bag and a new belt last year.

The Hoover picked-up much better afterwards.

          Pearl Necklace

She gets nothing, and it's been like that since before we got married. FFS once you start you can't stop.

I remember it well .... I told her weeks before that "Valentines day is a rip-off, expect nothing".

On the day, I get back from work to find a likkle card and a likkle pressie for me. She stood there in the doorway with a hopeful look on her face. Maybe I'd got her some flowers, chocolate, a pearl necklace?

So, I said to her "Remember what I said about today? I meant it. You got nothing."

Is that because you're single and your parents are dead?

Cooking hubby his favourite dinner, packing kids off to his mums for a couple of hours, then sending hubby down the pub so I can watch telly in peace and quiet whilst enjoying a bottle of chilled Veuve Clicquot.

                Brilliant.

                Can I come round?

She also remembers it well and more than make up for it in the divorce settlement...

Some of this to...ouch that hurt!
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
