It isnt "allowed" Im afraid and I would be very careful if I were you. There is a big difference between the law of the land, aka what is allowed and the CPS, never forget that. All that is needed is one nosey parker to lodge a complaint. Don't expect a fair or rational investigation.

Every month in the news, you hear of a child being taken off loving parents, when someone reports something of concern. The latest idiotic one I saw was parents having their toddlers taken away from them, because they filmed them in the tub.

Last year there was one mother who tapped her toddler on the bum after explaining why, for breaking free from her hand in a busy car park. Reasonable? Well that investigation is still ongoing and the parents will probably always be watched by social services now.

All Im saying is the slightest whiff of smoke can set a ball rolling.

You hit the nail on the head there. IMO the root cause is that social services are answerable to no-one. And they cannot be sued. They have absolute power.

Just saw a trailer for a documentary about social workers to be shown on BBC1. Looks interesting - their job isn't easy.

I think it is quite easy. Blame the feckless father.

            Young people's rights

            See Punishment section.

Example in itself that not enough is known on the issue, everyone should be educated on what is allowed. Parents and authorities.

I'd give up on ever getting anyone on CUK to have empathy for them... CUK dogma says anyone working in the public sector is automatically scum.

Personally I am in favour of doctors, nurses, hospital workers (except unnecessary admin), teachers, rubbish collectors, environmental health, council workers (except those working in unnecessary admin roles), firemen, police (except the 1% who think they are the law) and judges (except those in family law).

I loathe judges in family law, unnecessary administrators, police who think they are the law.

But I detest social workers. It should be possible to sue anyone who does not do their job properly.
