Chorlton's not a bad place, very 'middle class' as long as you avoid the big council estate just south of it.

Mind you I only know it from Broughton Park rugby club, who can make Saturday nights quite boozy.

In fact, most places with a well known RU club are OK. That's why Orrell died; no place for RU in a tuliphole like Wigan.

Hale is nice but expensive, Altringham is ok, Bowden is very nice but you need to be an IT contractor to afford to live there.
Lymm is nice and pretty near to Warrington, yep that would be my choice.
