Wasn't there a guy some years ago who was reported for using his vacuum cleaner for self gratification?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Brillo, Red before black I think is the way to do it, according to manual.

This car is before 2005 so can be jump started, its the post 2005 that cannot be jump started.
Leave me out of this one dude. Being a proper blokey bloke I know how to jump start a car, and even have a few engine rebuilds I have done by hand over the years.

My neighbour is a Nissan Mechanic and he lent me his battery pack to start my motorbike once and told me to link it to the frame not the terminal due to potential issues with the electronic ignition unit getting blown.

Those of you nasty enough to have a BMW may like to know that some of them have jump start points under the bonnet where the battery is in the boot and therefore harder to reach.

Especially if the barsteward kicked back.

The Rover manual showed the "keep your thumb in the right place on the starting handle" picture to avoid hospital appointments.
Oi! It was 1098cc of throbbing, grunting power! Sort of.

Granted though, a 2.6 would've posed more of a challenge.

I remember staying at a B&B once where the owner was telling me about his brand new Saab that had just burned down. He'd put his golf clubs in the boot, and according to the insurance company (who were refusing to pay), the metal clubs shorted out the battery and that caused the fire.

It would depend on the age, the earlier ones came with smaller engines. Ours was 948cc IIRC. I still have the Haynes manual somewhere.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
