Maybe socialists object to the ever widening gap between rich and poor? It seems the only time this gap is ever narrowed is during a depression. And countries with lower wealth gaps have happier people.

I think socialists might also object when it gets hard to move between rich and poor.

Although I am generally a capitalist I do object to private schools and to inheritance tax of less than 100%.

Inheritance should be fully taxed. Socialists are only interested in narrowing the gap between rich and poor by making the rich poor and making themselves richer. They use this "gap" rhetoric to make the rest of us feel guilty enough to justify their existences

Recipients dont earn it, and those that have earned it cannot take it with them. So instead of taxing people who are alive and going to work take the money from inheritance.
